Volunteer Coaches

The Town of Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department is always looking for volunteer coaches. Our coaches are there to provide an instructional and fun environment for all players. The Recreation Department also provides a free clinic to all coaches which allows them to become certified with the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. Sports Officials

Part Time Employment
Our youth sports programs are in dire need of officials. Anyone who is 14 years or older and has a general knowledge of the rules for baseball, softball, soccer and/or basketball can officiate. Folks who are
interested must attend a county sponsored training clinic prior to the season.
