Beach Hours For Public Swimming

Cadyville and East Morrisonville

Check back in the spring for our summer beach schedule!

NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO SWIM BEFORE OR AFTER THESE HOURS.

** The only exceptions will be days of inclement weather where there will be no beach coverage.**

Swimming Lessons

Swim lessons are held daily from June 27th – August 5th and are free of charge. (No lessons on July 4th) All lessons will be taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.

The times are as follows:

City Beach – 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

All children who ride the swim buses will be bused here for lessons. See below for bus schedule.

Cadyville Beach – 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

**Lessons will start July 5 at this location**

This time is open to any Town resident who would like to transport their children to the beach.

Cumberland Head – Start pick up at 10:30 am Bus to City Beach Leave beach @ 1 pm.	Recreation Area, St. Mary’s Church, corner of Cumberland Head Rd. & Allen Rd., Gus’s Red Hots, Tara Lane, and corner of Moffitt Rd. & Sears Blvd.
North Plattsburgh – Start pick up at 10:15 am Bus to City Beach Leave beach @ 1 pm.	Corner of Daytona Blvd & Michaele Ave., Wallace Hill Rec Park, corners of Wallace Hill Road & Bell Rd., Vintage Estates and Rasco Rd., corners of Tom Miller Rd & Facteau Ave., Melody Lane, Graves Lane and the corner of Military Turnpike & Independence Dr., North entrance of Vintage Estates, & Nightengale Dr Community Building.
South Plattsburgh– Start pick up at 10:25 am Bus to City Beach Leave beach @ 1 pm.	Corners of Route 22 & South Junction Rd., Salmon River Rd., LTS Homes and Runway Drive. Corners of Irish Settlement Rd. & Abenaki Rd. and Pleasant Ridge Rd.
Treadwells Mills – Start pick up at 10:30 am Bus to City Beach Leave beach @ 1 pm.	The Corners of Military Turnpike & Rugar Parkway, in front of Pine Rest Trailer Court, the Recreation Park, Brown Rd., Cross Rd. and the corner of Rugar St. & Rugar Parkway.
