We have installed an ice rink at the Everest Rabideau Park (in Cumberland Head). The Cumberland Head Fire Department is working on flooding it for us so it will hopefully be good by the end of the week (February 17). Feel free to bring your family out and skate during regular park hours. Participants are asked to follow the posted rules at the park.
 

Bowling- All areas of the Town will bowl at North Bowl Lanes on Sundays at 8:30 AM beginning January 8.  This program will run for 10 weeks.  The program is for all school aged children who are residents of the Town.  There is no cost to the participants.  Children can bowl up to three games and receive shoe rentals at no charge.

 

Snowmobile Safety Course: We will be offering a New York State Certified Snowmobile Safety Course on February 21 and 24 from 9 AM to 1 PM. Participants must attend both sessions. Youth between the ages of 10 and 18 must complete a Safety Training Course (New York State Law) in order to operate a snowmobile on any property other than their parents’ or guardians’. The program is open to any Clinton County Youth between the ages of 10 and 18. There is no fee for the course. To register, please, call us at 562-6860.  


Open Family Swim Night:Our Family Swim night is every Friday night at the Wellness Center, at PARC at 295 New York Road!  It will continue each Friday night through March from 7-9 pm.  There is a $2 charge per person for all participants.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  All participants must bring their own towel and may use the locker rooms.  There will be Certified Lifeguards on duty at all times.

 

Beartown Family Night:The Town of Plattsburgh and Town of Beekmantown are co-hosting aFamily ski night. Join us on March 9 for free family skiing and snow tubing. Only snow tubes/inner tubes are permitted on the hill. No sleds are allowed.

  • Offer comprehensive, quality recreational programming to participants of varying age levels, physical abilities and unique interests.

Tobacco Free Policy

No person shall use any form of tobacco at or on any Town owned or operated recreational facility, including all areas of park grounds, such as playground areas, spectator areas, athletic fields, park buildings, and all beach areas.
